Short review on solvent resistance nanofiltration membranes for the treatment of waste water
    (2022-08) Agboola O.; Fayomi O. S. I.; Sadiku R.; Popoola A. P. I; Adegbola A. T.; Moropeng I.; Oyebanji J. A.; Oluwasegun K. M.
With the potential wastewater generated in modern chemical industries, separation of organic at more extreme conditions is inevitable. On the account of finding a sustainable and effective separation, the preparation of solvent-resistant Nanofiltration (SRNF) membranes appeared to be a promising solution. In this review, a short overview on SRNF and its benefits was given. We highlighted the efforts made in using SRNF for some industrial applications like bio-refinery and petrochemical. The performance evaluation of SRNF for different applications was also discussed, briefly. Factors responsible for the Stability of SRNF membrane and classification of SRNF Membranes were also discussed.

Short overview on the mitigation of corrosion in coal gasification plant
    (RESEARCH ARTICLE, 2022-08) Agboola O.; Fayomi O. S. I.; Adegbola A. T.; Moropeng I.; Sani S. E.
Tn a coal gasification plant the performance of components significantly degrade over time under extremely sulfiding environments of the extreme temperature coal gas. The use of newly discovered organic corrosion inhibitor such as DNA from plants and animals could mitigate corrosion in coal gasification plant. However, reports have revealed the deposition of an appropriate coating on a low cost alloy could enhance components resistance to the attack of sulfidation; hence, minimizing capital and working costs. Here, we review the coal gasification process and methods of mitigation corrosion in coal gasification plant
