dc.description.abstractTn a coal gasification plant the performance of components significantly degrade over time under extremely sulfiding environments of the extreme temperature coal gas. The use of newly discovered organic corrosion inhibitor such as DNA from plants and animals could mitigate corrosion in coal gasification plant. However, reports have revealed the deposition of an appropriate coating on a low cost alloy could enhance components resistance to the attack of sulfidation; hence, minimizing capital and working costs. Here, we review the coal gasification process and methods of mitigation corrosion in coal gasification plant
